Formation of Association

INDIAN  NATURE CURE  PRACTITIONERS  ASSOCIATION ( Regd )


Some progressive nature cure practitioners had been feeling the need for organising this profession for its proper development in the light of the modern research in health services. But none came forward to take this responsibility as it involved lot of time, labour and money to collect particulars of nature cure practitioners working in various states of our country. After long waiting Dr. Yogendra Nath Mishra of Delhi took up this responsibility. He contacted some known eminent naturopaths, held meetings with them and started the process for forming an association in the year 1973. INPA constitution was developed by Dr. J.R. Shastri and Dr. Yogendra nath Mishra, Founder and Secretary General of INPA.

The other Co-members of Constitutional Committee were Late Shri M.D. Pawar, Dr. J.M. Jussawala, the first President of INPA and Dr. Late K.R. Dilkush, 2nd President of INPA. After a meeting of naturopaths working in different states all the paper work for formation of an Association was completed. The draft byelaws were formerly passed in 1974. Dr. Khushi Ram Dilkash from Lucknow was elected President of the Association and Dr. Yogendra Nath Mishra from Delhi as its General Secretary. Thus the Association namely Indian Nature Cure Practitioners’ Association (INPA) came into being in the year 1976 and its function started according to its rules and regulations to achieve its objects. Association was constituted and got registered in Delhi under the societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.
